Dude CNN seriously. Every person with a brain 10 years ago knew about this.
Windows 7 and Almost all Linux variants that I know of already support this protocol. But governments and big corporations still haven't bothered to spend the money to get new routers and the other technology required that supports this protocol.
They are not working on IPV6, it is already done. Now companies like CNN need to talk with their it department before running a story that is moot.
